Canadian Recording Industry Pledges No Lawsuits against CD Buyers
The Canadian Recording Industry Association has pledged not to sue purchasers of CDs that make copies for their iPod or computer hard drive. The statement comes after the Canadian Supreme Court ruled that such copying may be illegal. No word on whether CRIA will drop support for techological controls that block the same form of copying.
